Our
Story
We hate Sytner Group.
After years of putting up with terrible customer service and dealings with Sytner, the purchase of a BMW 840d from Sytner BMW Nottingham finally took its toll, so now this website exists.
This particular BMW 840d had covered only 1500 miles in its 3 year lift. Should be as new right? Wrong! Up on getting the car home and washing it, it turned out one side had an M Sport skirt, the other side an SE skirt (they don't even sell an 8 series SE in the UK). Upon further investigation, almost every panel had been (poorly) resprayed and refitted. The car had really been through it.
Not just BMW's
Sadly, the issues with Sytner aren't just limited to their BMW dealerships. Their Landrover and Ferrari outlets are just as awful.
The Discovery 5 is one of Landrovers flagship cars, however one person we spoke to barely even saw their one. They were just given rental cars instead - this was while their actual discovery was in with Guy Salmon in coventry, just to replace a leaking windscreen seal.
All in all this simple visit took about 8 months, as during the change they managed to scratch all the interior and exterior trim, not repair it properly, not fix the leak, let a Childs car seat go mouldy and let the carpets get soaking wet.
A few examples of Sytner Groups commitment to ruining your car
Ferrari Fail
It's not unreasonable to assume that when dropping your Ferrari off for service, it will come back in the exact same condition it left you in. Thats to be expected with any service centre, not just Ferrari.
This just isn't the case with Sytner. Hand your car over to them and they will be sure to hand it back with extra greasy carpets and, as a treat, a nice chip on your wheel from when they changed the tyre.
They like to win you over with fancy coffees and a tour of the showroom, but as soon as it comes to criticising anything, they don't want to hear from you.
Just some of the photos of what to expect when Sytner get a hold of your car.
